Meet The Writer

Hello Readers (and visitors who may have stumbled upon this page by pure chance),

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope the posts were able to entertain you.

Nothing charms as much as originality, so let me introduce you to the real me.

My name is Payal Niharika, and I am a female from India. I am an Electrical Engineer by degree, but a writer in-and-out. An avid reader (of books and blogs that span a wide range of genres), and an ardent fantasy-fiction fan, I am here to explore the magic of words, and then utilize it to enchant the others. Creativity is my second love, and I spend a lot of my free time doing something artistic. Β I am a curious soul, and I love discovering and researching(vaguely) about the new things out there. And when I am not doing something mentioned above, I like listening to rock music.

It would be a pleasure to know your suggestions (of all kinds) and hear your reviews. My email id is payalniharika26.11@gmail.com. Drop in your thoughts.Β Or simply just a “hello” mail. I’d love to connect to you.

Oh, and we could even have fanfiction discussions πŸ™‚ :).

Regards,

The writer.

  6. My goodness, what a beautiful blog you write…and images, so lovely!

Thank you for following The Bible Through the Seasons. I hope that what I offer each day will bring you joy and deepen your call in life.

  7. I appreciate your sensibilities; you are a kindred soul. I especially like your sense of curiosity; this too defines me.

  8. Thank you for writing and your kind words about my blog.. I have never been to India, but have neighbors here in the USA who are from there. May you be blessed in all you do. I will look again for your thoughts as I continue to write. As for writing, I never know what topic will impress me…so you may be in for some unusual, but hopefully inspiring thoughts. Nancy

  13. Hi, You liked my blog so I had to check out your blog. What a lovely picture. I hope I can see more of your writing. I find I run out of time. I’m trying to edit my second book based on my mother’s life.

  14. Thank you for following my blog Princess of the Light and your comments about my blog and book made my day! Thank you so much and stay tuned for updates! I love your blog and continue to write, no matter what! πŸ™‚

  15. Thanks for visiting my new blog. I am fascinated by your introduction. I bet most people tell you that your career in engineering and your avocation for creatvity is an odd mix. I think it is great one! When you write about things that are complex your education and advocation can meld to guide the reader.

I plan to read your blog this evening and will be following it as well.

    • Thank you so much Alan πŸ™‚ Yes, you are right. Whenever I tell them I want to be a writer, the question that comes up is, “You want to be a writer, shouldn’t you have done your graduation In English?”
      Thanks for coming by πŸ™‚

  16. Hi Payal,
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I’m pretty new to blogging although my background is the same as yours. I read quite a few of your posts and found them very interesting. I look forward to more stuff from you. πŸ™‚

    • Hi Rohan,
Thank you for coming by my blog and also for those kind words πŸ™‚ Adding to the similar background is the fact that we both are Deloitte JANees πŸ˜€ (and that is how I came by your blog πŸ™‚ ) Seeing your posts, you dont really seem “new”. I am going to drop by your blog often
      Thanks again,
      Payal
P.S.- I see you have read Cuckoo’s calling. How is it?

  17. You are a very complex human being, in a good way. You are an engineer and a writer of fiction at the same time–we seldom see the likes of you. Keep up the good work!

  18. Erato!
    DAmn!
    Great Blog:)
    Love<3

    • Thanks Anne πŸ˜€
I love what you are doing!!! And the blog too. And the about.me page as well. It is crisp, precise but has got a heavy weight to it. The name Kolkatacloset is great. How did you come by it?
      Keeping posting πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

      • Random name choosing. It’s more of a free website than a blog.
        Need help though:p

I want a theme that shows tabs on the top. Any suggestions?

      • There is this theme which has a huge placeholder for a picture in the background and the content is to the right, you could use that…I don’t really remember the themes by names , but I will get through and get back to you πŸ™‚

    • Thank you for coming by my Blog Swetha, and also for the suggestion. I will definitely add my blog there.
Also, I visited yours—you really have a collection of some very cool facts πŸ˜€

  19. Hi,
Thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving your presence there. Looking forward to have good interactions in future…:)

  20. It was such a treat to go through your blog! You were and are one of the most creative people I have known and I am so glad we could connect here! I’ll wait for the next post πŸ™‚
